Whoa, site glitch. It looks like this post was attributed to Denise's blog instead of mine.

Hehe...
It's a "woman" really, of course... just someone from a message board I visit.

She's from the same town as me by the way if that's what Jackie is asking. Nope, no common friends. *I'm* probably one of those scary stalker chicks. I think the chances of running into someone more insane than I am are pretty low (though it happened before). Oh well. I'm just meeting someone for coffee. Chances are she'll find me boring and not want to talk again. Actually that's the outcome I tend to hope for because it's better than 99% of all other possible outcomes in my mind. Why do I bother trying, again???.... I think I enjoy the adrenaline rush of pondering all the possible consequences.

If I met myself, would I have a huge falling out and wind up hating myself? I think I might. Argh.

Okay... well, this is all assuming that Scott's post was actually a joke (yes, sometimes it's hard for me to tell...) -- Denise, you have a serious case of self-deprecation, girl!!!

So, I'm also assuming that you've met her by now... well... how did it go?!?!?

Lost Things

Darrin's sheet and pillowcase disappeared some time back, and I just discovered my nice black pants are missing. I almost always wear jeans so I have no idea how long they have been gone. We searched thoroughly for these items and the only theory we can come up with is that Darrin's ex-girlfriend took them. Go »

Who are you calling a pipsqueak?

So now we have moved on to watching Fullmetal Alchemist. We borrowed season 1 from the library. I quite like it. Go »

Welcome

Not a lot happens in my life that I feel I can talk about publicly! There's my work, but we all know you can't talk about that. We're involved in a politcal thing that, if life were like an episode of Monk, would surely get us all killed. Go »

Stupid stuff

Well the most exciting thing to report is I've developed a crush on a TV character. I think this is a pretty clear sign that I need a life. It's not even a remotely original or interesting choice (besides being behind the times) and I don't actually like bad boys dammit :P Go »

D&D first impressions

So our books came yesterday and I've been reading the Dungeon Master's guide as scheduled while Darrell's been reading the Player's Handbook. It's quite obvious I am going to have to read the Player's Handbook too since there is not so much actual useful information in the DM guide. It has lots of pages about different playing styles, how to handle different personalities in your group, and weird stuff like how to write cryptograms, but not so much useful data on the actual rules. Crazy day

More happened today than in my usual month I think... which goes to show you how uneventful my life is. So I don't think sleep is really going to happen. Go »
