I need to get a camera phone. I keep seeing things that I want to take a picture of, but I don't bring my camera with me, and even if I did, I wouldn't be fast enough with it. Yesterday I pulled up behind a landscaping truck that had one of those "how's my driving?" bumper stickers, but you couldn't see the number because the entire back bumper was bashed into a crater shape.
The picture I want to share with you is of a Walgreens. There are a lot of Walgreens stores around here. I think they comprise around 90% of the economy of Sarasota. It's now getting to the point where they are literally building a new Walgreens in the parking lot of an existing Walgreens. I fear no one will believe me without a photo, but it's true.

Moving Day

Yesterday, Kelly and I joined friends who had free passes to shop at the new Ikea store in Tampa before it opens to the public. It was our my first time in one of those stores, and it was every bit the harrowing shopping marathon I'd heard it was. For a store that boasts so frequently about how efficient everything is, having you proceed through the store in one long winding line for four hours sure doesn't feel that way, but every store has ways of getting you to buy more than you came for and Ikea has come up with a unique one.
